Who are we?

We are the people that have been welcoming you for several generations already in each of the Catholic spiritual centers of Québec: The Ursuline community, the Augustinians, the Jesuits, the parish community of the Basilica cathedral of Notre-Dame-de-Québec and the Seminary of Québec. Today we are still happy to invite you to meet those who had an important impact on the history of each of our communities, our diocese and our City of Québec.

A pilgrimage in New France

François de Laval, Marie de l’Incarnation, Catherine de Saint-Augustin, Jean de Brébeuf and his companions, these saints who left everything behind them to proclaim the Gospel… To follow in their footsteps, is to recall that even if the mission can contain many hardships and renunciations, it will not diminish the enthusiasm and the will to bring the faith to those who do not now yet Jesus. To make a pilgrimage with our holy Founders allows you to become aware of the gift of joy, generosity and charity, it is to discover that many centuries later, the fruits of their efforts are still visible.
